Join us for another fantastic Weaving day on August 2nd with the hugely talented Kate and Alan from Westcountry Willows. Our last course was fully booked very quickly! *Weave Your Own Willow Backpack* Learn traditional willow basketmaking techniques to craft your very own willow backpack, complete with adjustable jute rope shoulder straps. *One-Day Workshop* Spend a day immersed in nature, learning the art of willow weaving. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process, from preparing the willow materials to weaving your backpack's frame and body. *What You'll Get:* - A sturdy, eco-friendly willow backpack with adjustable jute rope shoulder straps - New skills in traditional willow basketmaking - A fun, creative day out in a beautiful woodland setting Who is this course for? This course is perfect for anyone, from complete beginners to those looking to refine their skills. If you've ever admired a woven basket and wondered how to make one yourself, this is the course for you. What will you learn? Hosted by West Country Willows, this workshop immerses participants in the ancient art of basketry. You'll learn the intricate techniques needed to transform willow rods into a beautiful and functional backpack. Ready to weave your own baskets?
