Join us and expert Forager and Herbalist Feebee Foran of Forager.ie for a day of discovery, connection, and nourishment from the land. Begin your journey with Feebee as she guides you through the woodland and meadows, teaching you how to identify, harvest, and appreciate the wild edible plants that flourish across the Irish landscape. You’ll uncover the healing properties, traditional uses, and culinary possibilities of these native treasures—from teas and herbal honeys to natural remedies. Then, return to the heart of the woods, where the crackling fire awaits. Under Ross’s guidance, you’ll learn how we have evolved into who we are from the magic of fire. Fire starting techniques and then create your own fire! You will then transform your foraged finds into delicious, rustic dishes cooked over open flame. Learn traditional fire-cooking techniques, simple recipes, and creative ways to bring wild ingredients into your kitchen.
